    A splendid read Reading this book reminds me so much of the importance of family, memories, stories and why I love Mississippi How can I grow up on the other end of the State and have so many of he same experiences It says a lot about our shared values even though we are from different cultures Thanks Al for making me remember my youth and rehashing all of those fun times growing up in this great state.

    I really like this book The author does a nice job presenting life in a small southern town His humorous family stories will make you chuckle out loud, and you may even find yourself being a little envious of the relationships within the family It is well written and easy to read I promise you will enjoy it.

    My beloved secretary gave me this book for Christmas this year because it is about her hometown of Star, MS It was fun to read because he is a guy about my age growing up in a small MS town.
