2.5 starsSomewhat entertaining Kind of liked the first two stories Tess Drew s but hated the third one Leo s I wasn t overly impressed with Tessa s story, it was okay enough but it was a little too short and felt unfinished Did Tessa and her community end up staying where they were or moving somewhere else Did they manage to get vaccinated Did they split up I really wanted Tessa to leave with Meredith and return home with Kaelyn Leo I don t know why she was so adamant in staying where she was wh [...]

4 stars. When reading a series or after your re done with said series, sometimes there are loose ends that aren t tied up Loose ends that can help you understand the plot if you re in the middle of a series, or rather if a series ends, then you want to know what happens after The beginning of Those Who Lived started out with Megan Crewe explaining about how some readers wanted to know about the side characters and what happened to them She thought it was a great idea to give them their own stori [...]
I like to have things wrapped up Although there is still so much I want to know, Those Who Lived does help.
I received a copy of this book in ebook format from the author in exchange for review. Those Who Lived is a collection of three short stories that take place after the events of The Worlds We Make, the third and final book in the Fallen World series The first story follows Tessa after Kaelyn and the rest of the group leave her behind at the artist s colony The next follows Kaelyn s brother Drew as he works to help get the vaccine for the friendly flu released to everyone The last follows Kaelyn s [...]
This book is actually three different stories, which should be reviewed separately. The first story is hardly a story More like a bunch of emotions and thoughts thrown in together I liked it, though, mostly because I really liked Tessa as a character It was nice to read what she s actually thinking rather than observing her through another character But there s hardly anything else in this story. The second one is really good It has an interesting plot which seems to be centered around a seemingly [...]
First off, I have not read the FALLEN WORLD TRILOGY, but from what I can gather from the short stories and the characters in THOSE WHO LIVED I know I need to find the FALLEN WORLD TRILOGY and read them It didnt take me long to get the gist of the characters and the plot and I really enjoyed meeting these characters one by one The stories,as I said before are pretty short and describe characters that one could meet and greet on the street every day Good plot good characters and vivid locations ha [...]
because that was how you lived You didn t wait to be pulled into some perfect world, you learned to breathe in the world you had Disappointed I had hoped I d have a little peak into the world after Kaleyn and Leo headed back home and we did get that just didn t really add anything I felt we got very little. The first story, I really felt like we don t know anything about Tessa than we d already guessedDrew was, by far, my favorite part.Leo and Kaelynmehow their story was both boring and complete [...]
Great addition to the Fallen World series Builds on characters that you come to love throughout the series but never really understand their perspectives on the apocalyptic situation My favourite short story was Leo s because I can truly understand his take on the new world.
The companion novel to the Fallen World series is told from 3 perspectives.3 people who survived the friendly flu and the deadly virus A nice addition to round out the series.
