This is the first book that I have read of Amelia Grey She makes reading a book truly a joy The characters were really good and there was tension between them as they figured things out There even was funny parts in the book I really loved it.

3 5 stars. This book was cute Really, really cute I wish I had better adjectives to describe it then that but I don t because honestly, that is all this book needs It s not a hard or consuming or soul gripping read It s a light read, perfect for a summer afternoon or a rainy fall day or days when you feel like reading but you don t want too much depth There is a slight mystery or rather, there is a young Lady standing over a dead man and when said young Lady s brother comes to see what sister s f [...]

Yesterday I finished A Little Mischief So, here is what the book is about We have a precocious heroine, Miss Isabella Winslowe At first she didn t purposely seek out trouble, it just land it at her doorstep after her reading group She finds Gretchen Colebrooke hovering over a body Both of them believe he s dead, so they decide to involve Gretchen s brother the Earl of Colebrooke. When Daniel arrives back to Isabella s home to find there s no body and thinking it s a ploy to leg shackle him Isabel [...]
This little who dun it romance is quite adorable Part mystery tangled in the web of romance with some spunk and sass that will have you snickering as you try to figure out who did what, when and where Oh and where did the body go Lady Isabella Winslowe is quite the treat amongst the ton and is thought to be a bit on the strange side A lovely flower who has decided that being a wall flower is not for her and her fellow awkward ladies, Isabella starts a Ladies Reading Society It s what she does be [...]
Review written for books n kissesThis is a re release from 2003 and a delightful read This historical has a little bit of suspense and a lot of romance The characters of Isabella and Daniel are perfect together The connection they have even from their first scene together jumps right off the page I love that Isabella seems so strong, confident and loves a good mystery and yet she has decided she should just become a spinster and has never even been kissed She helps wallflowers come into their ow [...]
Well behaved women seldom make history Laurel Thatcher Ulrich Amelia Grey delivers a light hearted mystery wrapped around a comedy of manners Her heroine, Isabella Winslowe, created the Wallflower Society to help shy ladies gain confidence to make their debut among polite society Instead, she finds Lady Gretchen Colebrooke standing over the very eligible, but very dead, Boswell Throckmorten Lady Gretchen admits to a secret meeting with her beau a story that her brother, Lord Daniel Colbrooke can [...]
Cute is the word, I often use cute about HR, but some just are that cute.Isabella wants to be spinster, she thinks she will be free that way And she also holds a club every week A club named The Wallflower club by certain idiotic members of the ton But back to Isabella who is outspoken, nice, fun and yes a troublemaker. In comes Daniel, the brother of a member of her reading group Oh he is an arrogant ass At first that is But we all know they will fall in loveeventually But before that there will [...]
Daniel Colebrooke, Earl of Colebrooke, is not happy with Isabella Winslowe First, she s invited his sister to her salons which are being dubbed a haven for wallflowers Now, Isabella has brought his sister back to his home with the ridiculous story that she s killed a man she was meeting in Isabella s garden Well, the man isn t dead At least not this time But when the man ends up with a knife in his chest and Daniel s sister standing over him, that s when things start to get complicated Of course [...]
I read the book titled A Little Mischief by Amelia Grey and it bit of mystery and romance I usually like depth in reading historical romances This story didn t quite give it to me The characters seemed kind of ho hum Isabella Winslow and Daniel Colebrook who are the love interest are going around searching for clues in a murder I really didn t feel that they would take it upon themselves to investigate a murder of a peer, when a family member should have done it I would like sexual tension to [...]
If I could give this book 2.5 stars, I would I thought the story was pretty good, and I liked the main characters However, the writing seemed a little clunky a touch too much telling rather than showing, perhaps This is the first book I ve read by this author I ll probably read a recent book of hers and see if the editing has improved.
This was a quick little read Because it was so short they really had to go from being annoyed to being attracted but I loved that they kept kissing and denying that this was something that they should be doing The little murder mystery that was in between the relationship was great in keeping them together I will definitely look for others by AG.
This was a charming, light read that kept me smiling It was nice to read about a heroine I could relate to spunky, defending others, independent, and curious It s a rather short book, so the romance moves quickly, and the murder mystery adds to the fun.
cute couple and fun banter Good resolution to the mystery a nice light read with engaging characters and plot.
Light plot development Foreplay conversation was quite cheesy
